Internet Security

It’s on you, right?

It’s a good thing to have awareness of what’s around you and what’s going on. Better is to take inventory of your personal strategies and behavior and to reinvent your habits to keep pace with the escalating risks of data intrusion and identity theft.

Media would have us believe hacking is all Black Hat wizardry, but about 61% of hacks and ransomeware demands are tricking some mug to give over their passwords.

Breach!

If there is a breach in your personal security, it’s your bad, really. Now that’s not likely what you want to hear, but if you don’t take responsibility for yourself, you abdicate your safety.

Your. Own. Personal. Safety.

If there is a breach n your personal security, it’s your bad, really

Sure you can delegate, outsource and automate processes, but you have to stay on top of them. You need to manage your safety protocols effectively and efficiently and review them constantly to meet the demands of a changing, chaotic environment.

Any lapse of judgement, any failure to follow protocol, any slack in your risk management routine and you open yourself to attack.  It’s on you, no one else.  It’s not someone else’s responsibility, there is no one else to blame. If your security is breached, it is your fault. Not your parents, company, government or employees. It is your job and only your own job, because no one cares as much about you except well, you!

It’s on you, no one else.
