OK, Millenial, ‘One flew over that cookooright? I get it; before your time, but this revision of the 2008 version – directed George Clooney – looks like a winner to me.

Adapted from the classic ’61 novel by Joseph Heller, Catch-22 is a 6-part limited series.

A US Air Force bombardier in World War II – the incomparable and artful dodger Yossarian – is furious because of increased missions. If he attempts to avoid assignments, he’ll be in violation of Catch-22:

A concern for one’s own safety in the face of real and immediate danger is rational;

real and immediate danger is rational;

it’s insane to willingly continue flying dangerous combat missions,

but a request to be removed from duty is evidence of sanity and therefore ineligible to be relieved from duty.
